This snapshot is a self-assessment, not a live lookup — every number above is what you typed in, and nothing here checks your actual Google Business Profile. The score compares your self-reported numbers against published consumer-research benchmarks, weighted across three factors:
- Star rating (40 points). Weighted around the 4.0-star threshold that BrightLocal's 2024 Local Consumer Review Survey identifies as the minimum most consumers expect, with 71% of consumers saying they would not consider a business rated below 3 stars.
- Review volume (35 points). Scaled against the same BrightLocal research, which found 59% of consumers expect a business to have between 20–99 reviews before they trust the average rating, with diminishing returns after that range.
- Review velocity (25 points). Benchmarked against local-SEO research on Google Map Pack rankings, where businesses earning roughly 3–5 new reviews per month tend to hold top-3 local rankings, and 5+ per month is associated with sustained #1 positions — see Ueni's review-velocity and ranking research. Fresh reviews also matter to buyers directly: BrightLocal's 2025 survey found roughly 1 in 5 consumers say reviews as recent as two weeks old still affect their decision.
None of this is a guarantee of ranking or revenue — it's a directional read on how your current numbers compare to what published consumer research says buyers expect, so you can see where the biggest gap is.
